I strive to help everyone at a wedding and want to make the most of their day, it is a pleasure to be the first point of contact, in this case I drove the brides fathers car to the church so he could get back to the venue.

Lee and Natalie

We both wanted to say a big thank you to Steve and Sue for their help both on the run up and during our wedding at Mamhead House. We are so glad we enlisted their help especially in the morning of the wedding, when family and friends are worrying about getting themselves ready it was nice to have Sue there for the bride to help with the dress & shoes. Sue took over those little things that can often be forgotten, like breakfast, emergency repairs, last minute ironing,and also kept us fed and watered. Steves calm approach took away a lot of the tension and nerves, and was never far away. He kept to the timings which were spot on which can be difficult especially when drink is on hand! He bought that professional look to our day and it is clear that their experience with weddings and Devons venues is invaluable... you just don't get another shot at it! Thankfully we didn't need Steves "emergency kit" on the day but felt assured it was there. They are both now firm friends of ours for the future and will keep in touch. love Lee & Natalie xx

For the groom and I, having Steve present and available on our wedding day was priceless! Having him there, took away the stress of the day especially in terms: of organising guests, suppliers and ensuring we had a flawless, special day. The hiccups were not felt by us and the only stress my groom had was saying hello to all of our guests and not missing anyone! 

 

Steve is unique because he finds the perfect balance between being part of the wedding as our friend or almost family and being a hired person. 

 

I can say, that at the end of our special day, saying good bye to him was bitter sweet. So much planning with someone and becoming so close to them whilst at the same time knowing, he is to move on to another couple to make their day super special!

 

As for Sue, I nicknamed her my fairy godmother! She was great at ensuring me, the bride, and my bridesmaids had everything we needed in terms of food, alcohol and comfort. The special touches in our honeymoon sweet were splendid! And having clean towels and linen gave a special touch of luxury for our guests. 

 

For me in particular, it was great to have someone to bounce off! My guests can be very intense and needy, so to have someone to go back to and say simply ask Sue was great. It took the edge and stress off me and gave it to someone who I knew would take care of them.

 

By the way, I am happy to speak to brides and highly recommend both of you!
