Every love story is beautiful, but your's should be unique

So much preparation, a Toastmaster is the smallest investment but  definitely the best value.

The venue, the celebrant, the cars, the photographer, the invitations, the breakfast, the ushers, the cake, the entertainment, the wine, the speeches, the flowers, the dress, the honeymoon!

You have arranged so much............................ Let me help relieve the stress of the day.

I will:

Get to know the Bride and Groom well in advance of the wedding and understand their expectations.

Provide advice, if needed, on etiquette and tradition.

Arrive at the venue (either church or civil venue) well ahead of the wedding party and guests to ensure all is prepared and that I understand the layout of the facilities.

Assist the ushers and help the photographer arrange the memories and ensure that everything is kept to time.

Greet the wedding party and their guests with a glass of something calming.

Help with corsages, buttonholes etc.

Escort the Mother of The Bride to her seat.

Arrange a receiving line and announce guests if required.

Direct guests to the seating plan, escorting those who require assistance.

Liaise with the Banqueting Manager to make sure everything is ready, he or she will be busy with the chef and serving staff.

Announce the newly weds when the wedding party and guests are at their tables.

Say Grace if required.

Propose the Loyal Toast.

Help with and introduce the speeches, putting the speakers at their ease.

Look after any gifts and take care of the guest book.

Announce the cutting of the cake, I carry a cake knife for this purpose or for a little more theatre a sword!

Introduce the evening entertainment.

Announce the return of the happy couple.

The time I am at the wedding varies but it is usually at least 8 hours in addition to a planning meeting

Ladies and Gentlemen please stand and welcome your Bride and Groom, the new Mr and Mrs

I Promise

I will always:

Be punctual.

Uphold the standards expected of those who wear the red tail coat and white bow tie.

Be friendly but dignified.

Provide discreet advice when requested.

Make sure everything runs to time.

Provide a gentle and experienced guiding hand.

Abstain from alcohol.

Be supportive and tactful.

Provide a written overview of the agreed procedings.

Be flexible and responsive.

Seek to exceed your expectations.

Provide that extra quality to enhance your treasured memories.

Carry a comprehensive selection of items to deal with almost any eventuality, from a spare pair of tights to a sewing kit, just in case!

Do you really want The Best Man or one of your guests to worry about managing the day?

A bouquet toss makes a great photo but it needs organising

Proud to be Toastmaster & MC to Exeter and Plymouth Lords Taverners
